About the Hub

The Sovereign Debt Hub is a data platform built to make sovereign debt information across Caribbean Small Island Developing States accessible, comparable, and actionable. It brings together fiscal indicators, debt metrics, and development data for 13 Caribbean nations in one place.

Designed for researchers, policymakers, journalists, and advocates, the Hub provides country profiles, policy recommendations, and curated resources to support evidence-based engagement with the region's debt challenges.

How the Hub Works

Data Sources

Indicators are compiled from official sources including the IMF, World Bank, UN agencies, and national statistical offices. Regional averages are calculated across all 13 Caribbean member states.

Update Frequency

Data is updated as new rounds become available from contributing organizations, typically on an annual or semi-annual cycle.

Indicators

The Hub tracks 49 indicators across six categories — national accounts, debt, fiscal, social, SDG progress, and regional benchmarks — covering the period 1990–2025.
