Information submitted via the contact form (name, email, message) is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

Cookies & Analytics

This site uses essential cookies required for basic functionality (e.g., session management). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If analytics are enabled in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Third-Party Services

Certain pages embed content from external services. YouTube videos are embedded on the Documentary and Resource Library pages; loading these videos may allow YouTube (Google) to set cookies in your browser. Interactive charts are rendered using the Highcharts library loaded from a CDN. Google Fonts are loaded for typography. These services may log your IP address in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you have submitted to us via the contact form. To make such a request, please contact us using the details on our Contact page.

AI & Image Disclosure

In keeping with the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (2021), we believe in transparency about how AI tools are used in our work. The following disclosure covers all uses of AI in the creation and operation of this website.

AI-Generated Images

Some illustrative and decorative images on this site were created using AI image-generation tools. These images depict fictional scenes and are used solely for visual context, for example to illustrate Caribbean landscapes, community settings, or thematic concepts related to debt and development.

  • No AI-generated image on this site is a deepfake or depicts a real, identifiable individual. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or deceased, is entirely coincidental.
  • No copyrighted artwork, photographs, or third-party intellectual property was used as source material for these images.
  • AI-generated images are not used in place of documentary photography or news imagery. All photographs depicting real events or people are sourced from CPDC’s own archives or properly licensed sources.

Data Integrity

All economic indicators, debt statistics, and country data presented on this site are sourced from official institutions including the IMF, World Bank, and UN agencies.

Editorial Content

Policy recommendations, advocacy positions, and editorial content on this site reflect the views and research of CPDC and its partners. All published content is reviewed and approved by CPDC staff and subject-matter experts.
